Mercure Welcome Melbourne

Amazing place with great amenities like 24-hour reception, tv, and laundry services. The staff helped me with currency tips during my first stay, which I appreciate. I always feel welcomed here and I'll be back for Christmas!

The hotel has a very central location close to city centre.

The staff were friendly, especially with thoughtful touches during breakfast. The location was perfect, surrounded by restaurants and sights, made exploring melbourne easy.

Quitness and central Location

The location was excellent being in the centre of the city.

The room and bathroom were extremely basic and very small. Unfortunately the bathroom also had mould in it. Not happy.

Would recommend for a little getaway

Convenient location, clean room, friendly staff, with just a short 10-minute walk to Flinders Street and a lovely breakfast at the bar/lounge area to start your day.

Very central location to the main Melbourne shopping - only a few steps away from the efficient tram transport system and not very far away from excellent restaurants in Lygon St. Hardware Lane and SouthBank. Also within easy walking distance of 2 major theatres.

The complimentary papers. I had stayed at the hotel previously and had a great stay which is why I returned and this stay was no different.

The surcharge for credit cards leaves a bad taste in the mouth all for the sake of a few dollars. To charge this is unprofessional given these fees should be incorporated into the room charge.

Bath was too small (but at least there was one!). Breakfast rather costly and 'mass produced'. Internet Access too expensive

I have stayed atthe Mecure several times and this one was so dissapointing compared to all the other times. The room was very small and shabby with metal showing on the wall in the bathroom. No comfy chairs to sit onand no resturant. I have always reccomended your Hotel but in the future I have my doubt's after this time. The room is nothing like the pictures on the web.
